Compassion and guidance through life’s transitions — at your pace.

Helping you let go, gain clarity, and move forward with confidence.

Hi, there! I’m Mimi Yasgur.

I’m a licensed mental health counselor based in Cambridge, MA. I’m deeply passionate about supporting folks through life transitions—helping them find clarity and create more spaciousness in their physical environment, mental health, and emotional wellbeing.

I want you to know that you are not alone during life’s milestones. Whether you’re navigating a move, loss, grief, or even positive change, these moments often bring emotional and practical decisions that can feel overwhelming.

Life is constantly evolving, and we are always growing and moving forward. Along the way, we can carry heavy burdens from the past—sometimes emotional, sometimes physical—that keep us feeling stuck in the present.

My goal is to offer a compassionate, supportive space where you can reflect, let go of what no longer serves you, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. I’m here to help you forge a path into the future and overcome the barriers that stand in your way.

Person-Centered Psychotherapy

I work with adults of all ages, and I specialize in addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. I help you access your self-awareness and process your emotions. You will have the opportunity to learn practical approaches, including nervous system regulation and mindfulness, to help you grow holistically through the complex challenges that come with life transitions.

Integrating Creativity

Expressive Arts Therapy

Sometimes words aren't enough to express what you're feeling. Through expressive arts therapy, we can tap into creativity - art, music, movement, poetry, drama - as another language for your inner experience. You don't need to be "artistic" or have any special skills. I'll help you discover which creative approaches feel natural and meaningful for you.

Create Space to Grow

Coaching for Life Transitions & Letting Go

Are you struggling with the weight of letting go? Life’s major transitions—moving, downsizing, loss, or even positive change—can bring up grief, guilt, and overwhelm, especially when they involve parting with belongings that carry meaning from your past.

This work isn’t about telling you what to keep or what to toss. That’s not my role. Instead, I help you gently explore the emotions that make these decisions feel so difficult and often feel impossible to face alone.

Whether you’re downsizing your home, supporting a friend or family member through a move, or sorting through a loved one’s belongings or lifetime of memories, I help you understand the emotional roots and trauma surrounding these transitions. Together and with concrete tools, we work toward clarity, ease, and a more spacious relationship between your physical environment and your mental and emotional wellbeing.
